Nice. There should be some more space between the L and I because now it looks a little like a U, and I'm not really sure how the feathers relate to the gum...

very pretty, however you may have some trouble trying to replicate this through print (depending on printing your methods) the glow might not work as well.

great start though!

The background seems have some texture feel... but the lighting effect make it look soft and blurry... texture + blurry light = very nice and detail background effect. Overall the design are very good... and I like it.
